As Erana and Tael watched over our two hostages, I wandered over to Kany's home.
The slimy stone steps still released their pungent odor as I turned my nose away. The dark hallway greeted me as I arrived at the bottom.
Slowly, I walked through the passage before I eventually came face to face with a bent door that I had previously ripped from its hinges. It was obviously just there for show as I gently pushed it out of the way.
"I'm coming in!" I declared as the iron door fell to the floor once more. Its loud thud echoed throughout the small room as I looked around for Kany.
Slowly, the wooden door to my right opened as Kany stepped forward. She's in her standard adventuring gear. I can't help but feel better when I see that.
"You could have been a bit more gentle, Onii-san." Kany muttered as she looked towards the door on the ground.
"Yeah, whatever." I pulled out the tins that Mike had "sold" me earlier as I handed them to Kany.
