The party that we had saved slowly disappeared as we walked further forward. I remained quiet as we trudged on, but Erana seemed to have other plans. She happily hummed as we walked, bobbing her head from left to right.
Eventually, I felt like walking silently was too awkward, so I stopped when we were a sufficient distance away from the wall.
"What's that song you're humming?" I asked as I sat on the grass.
Erana raised her eyebrows. "You don't recognize it?" She smiled as she began to lean towards me.
Uh-oh. Was this important? Perhaps it's something everyone knows?
"It's the song you sang back in Mulbik!" Erana began to giggle. "You weren't very good, but the song was cool!"
I forced my face to remain neutral as I looked at the ground. "Thanks…" I was able to mutter.
After Erana finished her giggling as she held her tree branch upwards. "Okay… So I need to use these 'style' things, right?"
