We exchanged glances towards each other before we stepped forwards towards the wall. Its stone exterior glimmered softly as the light around it shifted with our vision. Before we were able to get to the stairs, a familiar voice called out to us.
"Yo! It's you guys!" Jaq jogged towards us as his party followed. "So I guess we're really all here, huh?"
We each nodded in response. Jaqs usual demeanor was clearly affected by the atmosphere of the situation as he seemed to be slightly sweaty.
"Well… We're going to be stationed over at C-3. It's a bit down the way of the wall." He pointed behind himself as he spoke. "If things get hairy, I'd be glad to fight beside you again!"
Kilin stepped forwards as he handed something to Tael. "I knew you enjoyed these, so I made some for you." He said as Tael took the item from Kilin. "They are fresh. I hope you enjoy it." He smiled as Tael looked towards him as if he had just given him a great gift.
