Tael rubbed the back of his head as he slowly flipped over, watching at me with slight contempt. My laughter had subsided as I had turned my attention over to the two large bags and the letter that is addressed to me. I placed the bag labeled "Tael" on his lap as I went to my own bed and sat down.
"What time is it, anyway?" Tael yawned, holding the bag upwards and inspecting it with his right hand as he covered his mouth with his left.
I felt the weight of the bag in my hand, shaking it around to hear the metallic clinking noise that it created. "A bit after noon, probably one P.M. or so." I answered as I began to undo the strap around the top of the bag. Tael took notice of my action as he began to also undo his bag strap.
After a bit of trouble with my strap, I was finally able to open it, revealing the absolutely massive mass of juns inside. Tael seems to have also opened his bag as his eyes bulged in surprise. "K-Kenji… How much money were we supposed to get for this job?"
