The boy with no armor looked around at the people in the stadium and thought. "So this is everybody?" He continued to look around as he thought. "But wait, where is Mother? I don't see her anywhere! Isn't she supposed to be here too?" He looked at Menelaos.
Menelaos looked at the boy with no armor then slightly shook his head side to side with disapproval as he looked away with disgust.
Xasius looked at Aineas and mumbled. "My Fifth, would you like to have the Guardians be seated as well?"
Aineas shook his head but kept his left hand clenched over the center of his chest as he said. "I appreciate your concern, your Supreme Majesty. But, it is our job as Guardians to remain on guard at all times. We would prefer to remain standing."
Xasius mumbled. "Very well then." He turned his head and looked at the people in the sand pit. His voice echoed across the stadium as he said. "Participants! Form up and present your weapons!"
The boy with no armor had an uneasy expression on his face as he thought. "Present my weapon? But, I don't have a weapon!"
The boy with the spear looked at the boy with no armor with an annoyed expression as he said. "Quit standing around! We have to form up with everybody else!" He turned his back to the boy with no armor and began walking toward the other people in the sand pit.
The boy with no armor thought. "Form up with everybody else?" He looked back at the other people in the sand pit.
Three girls stood in the center of the sand pit. They faced the northern part of the stadium and their backs faced the southern part of the stadium. The girl closest to the eastern side of the stadium had long light silver hair, light silver eyes, and a sword strapped to her back that leaned to her right. The girl in the middle of the three girls had short light silver hair, red eyes, and a battle axe strapped to her back that leaned to her left. Lastly, the girl closest to the western side of the stadium had long black hair, light blue eyes, and a club strapped to her back that leaned to her left.
The two with blonde hair and the two with light blue hair switched sides. The blonde boy and blonde girl walked from the west side of the stadium to the east side of the stadium. The two boys with light blue hair walked from the east side of the stadium to the west side.
The boy with dark silver hair, that had a katana strapped to his left side, stood in front of the three girls. He watched as the two with blonde hair and the two with blue hair move from one side to the other. He then looked over at the boy with light brown hair that wore silver armor.
The boy with light brown hair that wore silver armor closely watched as everybody else began to line up. He then looked over at the boy with no armor.
The boy with no armor began to walk toward the boy with silver armor. He began to point up at his right shoulder with his right hand as he mouthed out his words and said silently. "I need a weapon! Do you have an extra?"
The boy with silver armor looked like he was about to say something to the boy with no armor as a slight grin formed on his lips. But, he remained silent. He looked over at the royals and his slight grin transformed into a frown. He turned and began to walk toward the east side of the stadium as he followed behind the two people with blonde hair.
The boy with no armor stopped walking. He stood where he was with a defeated expression on his face as he thought. "Why did he walk away? Could he not understand me?" He watched the boy with silver armor walk away as he thought. "But he always understands me..."
The two with blonde hair and the two with blue hair stopped walking. All four of them stood in their respective spots.
The two with blonde hair stood side by side. The one, standing to the left, that was next to the girl with long light silver hair was the girl that had light blonde hair, light green eyes, and two curved daggers strapped to her sides. The other one that was closest to the eastern side of the stadium was the boy with dirty blonde hair, light green eyes, and two curved daggers strapped to his sides.
The two with blue hair also stood side by side. The boy, standing to the right, that was closest to the girl with long black hair was the the boy with light blue hair, light brown eyes, and a dagger strapped to his left side. The other one that was closest to the western side of the stadium was the boy with light blue hair, light green eyes, and a sword strapped to his back that leaned to his left.
The boy with dark silver hair looked at the boy with no armor and did a "come over here" motion with his left hand.
The boy shook his head as he began to point up at his right shoulder with his right hand as he mouthed out his words and said silently. "I don't have a weapon!"
The boy with dark silver hair stopping doing the "come over here" motion with his left hand. He placed his left hand on his chin for a few seconds as he stared at the boy with no armor. He then did a thumbs up with his left hand.
The boy with no armor looked at the boy with dark silver hair with a confused expression as he thought. "A thumbs up? Why is he giving me a thumbs up? Did he even understand what I was saying?"
The boy with dark silver hair glanced over his left shoulder at the royals. He then looked over at the boy with no armor again as he began to do the "come over here" motion again with his left hand but faster than before.
The boy with no armor began to walk over to the boy with dark silver hair. He looked over at the group of people that were currently lined up.
Both the boy with the spear and the boy with silver armor stood in their respective spots. The boy with the spear stood at the very end of the left side of the line. He stood next to the boy with light blue hair that had a sword strapped to his back and he was the closest to the western side of the stadium. He had light blue hair, light blue eyes, and a spear strapped to his back that leaned to his left. The other boy that wore silver armor stood at the very end of the right side of the line. He stood next to the boy with the dirty blonde hair and he was the closest to the eastern side of the stadium. He had silver armor, light brown hair, light red eyes, and a sword strapped to his back that leaned to his left.
The boy with no armor continued to walk over to the boy with dark silver hair. He thought as he looked at the boy with dark silver hair and the line of people. "But why did he want me to come over to him? Shouldn't we both be joining up with the rest of the line? He'd go on the left and I would go on the right?"
Everybody in the sand pit stared at the boy with no armor as he continued to walk toward the boy with dark silver hair.
The boy with the spear muttered angrily as he watched the boy with no armor. "Can you walk any slower?! We don't have all day here!"
The boy with light blue hair that a dagger strapped to his left side mumbled angrily. "You're so slow! How annoying!"
The boy with no armor began to walk faster toward the boy with dark silver hair. He walked past the three boys with light blue hair and then walked past the girl with long black hair. Afterwards he walked past the two girls with light silver hair as well as the boy with dark silver hair who was facing them.
The boy with dark silver hair muttered quietly to the boy with no armor. "Hey, what are you doing?! Stand over here!" He shifted over to the left. He was previously facing the girl with short light silver hair. He was now facing the area in between the girl with short light silver hair and the girl with long black hair.
The boy with no armor stopped walking. He looked over at the boy with dark silver hair and thought. "He wants me to stand next to him?" He looked over at the boy with silver armor and thought. "But shouldn't I stand next to Brother?"
The boy with the dagger strapped to his left side said with annoyance. "Why did you stop?! Get to your spot already!"
The boy with no armor had a conflicted expression on his face as he looked over at the boy with silver armor and then looked over at the boy with dark silver hair. He thought as he looked at the two boys. "Where do I stand?"
The boy with dark silver hair muttered quietly. "Trust me! Come over here!"
The boy with no armor thought. "Trust him?" He looked over at the boy with silver armor and then looked back at the boy with dark silver hair as he thought with determination. "Alright I will." He walked over to the boy with dark silver hair. He stood to the right. He faced the area in between the girl with short light silver hair and the girl the long light silver hair.
The boy with the dagger strapped to his left side said with annoyance. "Finally!"
The boy with the spear said with an annoyed expression on his face. "Took you long enough!"
The boy with dark silver hair looked over at the boy with no armor and muttered quietly. "Now we're gonna turn."
The boy with no armor had a confused expression on his face as he said. "Huh? Why are we turning?"
The boy with dark silver hair mutteredly calmly. "Just follow my lead, okay?" He breathed in and then breathed out again. He shifted his left foot backwards. His left foot was a few inches behind his right foot. He then spun around on his left foot and faced the opposite direction he was facing before.
The boy with no armor had a nervous expression on his face as he thought. "Follow your lead? I don't know how to do that!" He shifted his left foot backwards. His left foot was directly behind his right foot. He then spun around on his left foot. He spun about halfway and then his left foot collided into his right foot. He almost fell over as he began to stumble back and forth.
The girl with the black hair quietly giggled.
The boy with the dagger strapped to his left side muttered angrily. "How do you manage to mess everything up?!"
The boy with the spear mumbled with annoyance. "Can you do anything right?! You're so incompetent!"
The boy with no armor regained his balance. He turned and faced the royals just like the boy next to him. They both stood side by side. One boy was on the left and the other was on the right.
The boy to the left had dark silver hair, light yellow eyes, and a katana strapped to his right side. The boy to the right had light brown hair, light silver eyes, and no armor or weapons. Both of their backs faced the line of nine people behind them. They both looked up at stated at the royals.
Menelaos glared at the boy with no armor with annoyance.
Krios said with confusion. "Two Northerners?"
The boy with dark hair muttered quietly to the boy with no armor. "You ready?"
Menelaos's annoyed glare disappeared. He said confidently. "It seems that way."
The boy with no armor muttererly quietly back to the boy with the dark silver hair. "Ready for what?"
Hypatos said with annoyance to Menelaos. "What do you mean it seems that way!" He looked at Menelaos and said angrily. "He doesn't look anything like Demosthenis! His hair isn't even silver!"
The boy with dark silver hair muttered quietly again. "We're going to present our weapons."
Menelaos looked at Hypatos and said with annoyance. "What are you talking about, you fool! None of his kids look like him! They're all orphans! He can't even reproduce!"
The boy with no armor muttered quietly with unease. "But I don't have a weapon!"
Hypatos said angrily. "Who are you calling a fool, you Eastern Bastard?! Fight me right here and now you-" He stopped mid sentence.
The boy with dark silver hair muttered quietly and said. "That's fine because- '' He stopped mid sentence. His eyes remained focused on the royals.
Both Hypatos and Menelaos looked at each other and then looked up at the top level.
The boy with no armor muttered with unease. "Because what?" He looked up and gazed at the same thing the boy next to him was gazing at.
At the top level of the stadium there were multiple cracks in Xasius's seat as he clenched the end of the armrests tightly with his hands.
Both Aineas and Atreus glared coldy at Menelaos and Hypatos as both of their auras intensified.
Menelaos and Hypatos immediately looked away from the top level. They looked at each other, nodded, and then they both turned their heads and looked at the sand pit again.
Xasius's seat stopped cracking. He unclenched his hands from the end of the armrest.
Aineas's and Atreus's aura decreased.
The boy with dark silver hair muttered quietly again as he continued what he was saying before. "Because... you don't need one."
The boy with no armor muttered quietly while confused. "What? But he said to present weapons!"
The boy with dark silver hair muttered quietly again. "If you don't have one then you don't have one. It is not an issue. Now stand completely still. I'm going to reach for my katana."
The boy with no armor nodded.
The boy with dark silver hair muttered with slight irritation. "Idiot. I said don't move."
The boy with no armor muttered with an apologetic tone. "Sorry."
The boy with dark silver hair breathed in and then breathed out again. He grabbed the hilt of his katana with his left hand. His left hand remained on the hilt of his katana for several seconds. He breathed in and then breathed out again. He pulled out his katana and moved it close to the center of his chest. His voice sounded extremely calm as he muttered to himself. "I did it..."
The boy with no armor muttered quietly to the boy with dark silver hair. "What do we do now?"
The boy with dark silver hair muttered quietly back. "Now we wait for the ones behind us."
Out of the nine people in the line behind the two boys eight of them reached for their weapons with their left hand. The only one who didn't reach for their weapon with their left hand was the girl with the long light silver hair that had a sword strapped to her back that leaned to her right. Both her left hand and her right hand remained by her sides.
The eight people in the line that had grabbed their weapons with their left hand pulled out their weapons and held it close to the center of their chest. Out of the eight six of them turned their heads and looked at the girl with long light silver hair. The only two that didn't look at the girl with long light silver hair were the two blondes that had their left curved dagger in their left hand and their right curved dagger still attached to their right side.
The girl with long light silver hair and the two blondes reached for their weapons with their right hand. They pulled out their weapons and held it close to the center of their chests.
The boy with no armor noticed the boy with dark silver hair looking up at the royals. He then looked up at the royals too.
Hypatos said with disgust. "A filthy right hander?! And this time it's Chara's!" He looked at Chara and muttered with disappointment. "I can't believe she managed to create such a disgusting creature with a body like hers!"
Kapaneus looked at the girl with the long light silver hair in the sand pit and then he looked at his right hand. He stared at his right hand for several seconds and then looked at his left hand. He attempted to move his left hand but was unable to do so. He looked at his right hand again for several seconds and then looked down at the ground again with disappointment.
Set laughed mischievously as he said. "They're all ready for you, Xasius!" His mischievous laughter echoed across the stadium as he said. "There is more participants than usual this time." He looked at the boy with no armor in the sand pit. He began to tap his right pointer finger against the armrest repeatedly as he said mischievously. "And a really fascinating one this time too." He looked over at Xasius and said with a mischievous tone. "There are too many for a one on one match... So what will it be? Team battles? A free for all?" He placed his right leg on his left thigh. He chuckled mischievously and said. "Or perhaps..." He suddenly stopped tapping. His right pointer finger remained hanging up in the air. He stared at the boy with no armor in the sand pit intently and said mischievously. "All versus one!"
