The boy looked at his Father's Second Guardian and thought. "Second escort?" He looked at his sister again.
Her Father's Second Guardian said as his clenched left hand remained placed over the center of his chest. "I cannot do that, my lady. I have orders from His Majesty to remain in the castle."
The boy's sister said to her Father's Second Guardian with a serious tone like before. "Your orders have been overridden."
A confused expression appeared on the faces of everyone except the man who stood by the left of the throne and the woman who stood by the right of the throne as they heard the boy's sister's declaration.
Her Father's Second Guardian's left hand fell down to his side. He looked over at the boy's sister and said. "Overridden, my lady? Can you do that?"
The boy's sister smirked and said to her Father's Second Guardian. "Right now I am both His Majesty and Her Highness." She looked at the two men who stood by the left side of the throne and then looked at the three women who stood by the right side of the throne as she declared while smirking. "Until Father or Mother return I possess the authority to overwrite any and all orders any of you previously received!"
Everyone except the man by the left of the throne and the woman by the right of the throne looked at the boy's sister with surprise.
The boy thought as he stared at his sister with wide eyes. "She can overwrite Father's and Mother's orders?! How is that possible?!"
The boy noticed in the corner of his right eye that the woman who stood next to his Mother's Second Guardian, the woman with the long purple hair, glared at the boy's sister with an angry expression. Her expression then disappeared as quickly as it had formed. Her expression changed to match the expression of his Mother's Second Guardian.
The boy's sister looked at her Father's Second Guardian and said. "You will act as Little Brother's second escort, is that understood?"
Her Father's Second Guardian clenched his left hand and placed it on the center of his chest. He then bowed and said. "Yes, my lady!" He raised the upper half of his body up again as he returned to his original position. He unclenched his left hand and put it back by his side.
Alessia, her Mother's First Guardian, clenched her left hand and placed it on the center of her chest. She then said to the boy's sister. "My lady!"
The boy's sister looked at her Mother's First Guardian with an irritated expression and said with a bored tone. "What is it?"
Alessia said. "My lady, are you sure a second escort for my lord is necessary?"
The boy's sister said. "Necessary?" A mischievous smirk appeared on her face as she said. "Are you trying to say Little Brother isn't important enough to have two escorts?"
Alessia stumbled backwards and then stuttered as she said. "N-No, my lady. I-I only meant to say is sending a second escort necessary since sending another Guardian to act as an escort could weaken the Kingdom. Especially one of His Majesty's Guardians. If His Majesty's Second Guardian acts as an escort if we get attacked by a foreign nation will we have enough power to repel them?"
The boy's sister continued to smirk as she said. "An attack, huh?"
Her Father's Second Guardian suddenly said. "My lady!"
Everyone except the man by the left of the throne and the woman by the right of the throne looked at her Father's Second Guardian.
Her Father's Second Guardian had his clenched left hand placed on the center of his chest again as he said. "My lady, His Higness's First Guardian has a good point. But, I will follow any command my lady gives me. Do you still wish for me to act as a second escort for my lord, my lady?"
Everyone except the man by the left of the throne and the woman by the right of the throne stared at the boy's sister as they waited for her answer.
The boy's sister said as she looked at her Father's Second Guardian. "Yes." She looked at everybody and said. "Father's Second Guardian will act as the second escort for Little Brother."
Her Father's Second Guardian bowed again as he said. "Understood, my lady, I will protect my lord with my life." He raised the upper half of his body up again as he returned to his original position. He unclenched his left hand and put it back by his side.
Alessia stuttered as she said. "B-But, my lady! H-His Majesty's Fourth Guardian will be the only one of His Majesty's Guardians left to protect the kingdom!"
The boy's sister smirked as she said. "It seems you underestimate the power Father's Fourth Guardian possesses. Father's Fourth Guardian is second only to Father's Fifth whose strength rivals Father's."
The boy looked at his Father's Fourth Guardian with shock and thought. "That means he is stronger than Mother and Sister!"
The boy's Father's Fourth Guardian, the man with the light red hair, stood by the left of the throne. He did not say anything. He stood completely still as he looked forward. It seemed as if he was staring at the women with the dark red hair who stood by the right side of the throne. But, he was actually looking right through her. He was actually staring directly at the wall at the end of the room that was several feet behind the woman with the dark red hair.
Alessia looked at the boy's Father's Fourth Guardian with shock and then stuttered as she said to the boy's sister. "B-b-but-"
The boy's sister cut off Alessia and said. "Little Brother."
The boy replied to his sister and said. "What is it?"
The boy's sister said. "You can now have two Guardians to escort you to the Ceremony."
The boy bowed to his sister and said. "Thank you, Sister!"
The boy's sister stared at her brother blankly as she said. "You don't have to bow. We're the same status."
The boy raised his upper body and returned to his original position. He said to his sister. "Oh okay." He then suddenly said with surprise. "Wait, really?!"
The boy's sister ignored her brother and looked over at her Father's Second Guardian as she said in a serious tone. "Second Guardian."
Her Father's Second Guardian clenched his left hand together and placed it on the center of his chest as he said. "Yes, my lady!"
The boy's sister said. "Take Little Brother to Father's Courtyard."
Her Father's Second Guardian said while confused. "His Majesty's Courtyard, my lady? But, I thought I was escorting my lord to the Ceremony?"
The boy's sister said. "You are. But, there is no way Little Brother can make it there in time. That is why you will take Little Brother to Father's Courtyard."
Her Father's Second Guardian said with surprise. "My lady, you want me to use that?! But, that is only supposed to be used by His Majesty!"
The boy's sister sighed and said. "I will face Father's wrath. Right now it is more important to please Grandfather. Father may be able to bury the entire kingdom, but Grandfather can bury the entire nation."
The boy thought. "What is in Father's Courtyard? Why can only Father use it?"
The boy's sister looked at her brother and said. "Little Brother."
The boy looked at his sister and said. "What is it?"
The boy's sister used her left hand and reached down into her breastplate. She pulled a necklace halfway out of her breastplate and then pulled it out all the way.
The necklace on the boy's sister neck was a thick silver string that had both ends tied together to form a circular shape. On the opposite side of the string, than where both ends were tied together at, was a whistle. The whistle was long and slender. The whistle had a hole in the front and another hole on the top about an inch away from the front.
The boy's sister took the necklace off her neck. She held the whistle in her left hand as the rest of the necklace stuck out of the top of her hand. She looked at her brother and said. "Take this." She moved her left arm forward to throw the necklace to her brother.
The boy looked up at the air but didn't see the necklace. He looked to his right and then to his left as he thought. "Where is it?" He looked at his sister again.
The boy's sister still had the necklace in her left hand.
The boy exclaimed as he pointed at the necklace with his right pointer finger. "You still have it!"
The boy's sister laughed as she listened to her brother.
The boy exclaimed. "Hey! That's not funny!"
The boy's sister continued to laugh as she listened to her brother. She then quickly stopped laughing. She looked at her Father's Second Guardian and said with a serious tone. "Second Guardian."
Her Father's Second Guardian clenched his left hand and placed it on the center of his chest. He said to the boy's sister. "Yes, my lady!"
The boy's sister said. "Take this." She tossed the necklace to her Father's Second Guardian.
Her Father's Second Guardian caught the necklace with his left hand. He then bowed and said. "Thank you, my lady!" He raised the upper half of his body up again as he returned to his original position.
The boy's sister sighed and said. "Now begone from this place. Do not return until after the Ceremony is over."
Her Father's Second Guardian's clenched left hand remained placed over the center of his chest as he said. "As you wish, my lady."
His Father's Second Guardian turned and faced the boy. He dropped down onto his left knee. He kept his clenched left hand placed over the center of his chest as he yelled out. "I am His Majesty's Second Guardian, Anatolios Zarion! I have orders from my lady to act as your escort to the Ceremony! Do you accept me as your escort, my lord?"
