"Why wouldn't I? After all--" She cuts her sentence off by the time Venice meets my gaze, while carefully studying my expression of the next sentence that I would first say.
I froze up and became muted due to the tension she was secretly releasing. The feeling was akin to a trial held inside a court, tested and observed.
"Now, now, Venice. What seems to be the problem?" Quinn, who had sensed the immense killing intention oozing out from Venice, raised her guard and returned the exact tension to her.
