"How are they not dying?" I whispered to myself as I knock down an undead zombie approaching my behind, with its head cut off and body disproportionate. It didn't have any viable organs such as its spine nor its upper limbs, but their bodies continue to reach out for our flesh.
They were akin to ghosts, haunting us despite being undead. Among the previous familiar zombies that I've fought, they are the most annoying once I've met so far.
Moreover, my blade, which was provided by Grey, is now changing for the worst after its succession of use. It'll be a matter of time before my weapon will break, so I need to be extra careful on handling my enemies.
