Most probably if Tianlong WenHe had been there alone then certainly the scenario might have gone as predicted. But even then he had just underestimated the strength and power of an expert by too much.
It wasn't that Tianlong Yun wouldn't have been able to block the missile using his inner energy and strength, in fact, he had suffered the most by teleporting those people outside.
If he had actually stayed there and raised a powerful energy shield, he would have been able to block the attack without suffering even the slightest of injuries.
