Zeln looked away from the man's gaze.
He felt erratic and volatile.
"Forgive me for reminding your painful past," Zeln said.
The old man gave him an abrupt laugh as he replied, "Do not ask for forgiveness, Your Honour. You have the right to ask anyone who seemed to be suspicious!"
He suddenly looked around and met the gaze of the guards.

It was a warning. A bad omen to be certain.
However, Prince Zeln burst into laughter. It was warm, real and genuine.
The old man narrowed his eyes as he tried to understand him. Until he noticed the sentiments in his cold and dead eyes.
To distract the attention of the guards, Zeln laughed. Pretending to be naive and gullible.
He then stopped as he stood from the cold ground. He said, "Eat all of these and be the joy embrace us all!"
