~ Third Person's Point of View ~
The weather was too warm but the princess condoned the thought of it. She was reminiscing the path they are taking and every detail of the place.
In the west, there are tall trees standing still and in the opposite way were full of undead's body.
Alice gulped and stopped walking. She stared at them carefully and wonders where they come from. Who killed all of them?
Phoax saw the princess looking at the corpses. He said, "My uncle and his men killed all of them, your majesty! In almost fourteen days staying here, I would definitely confess that they are one example of real beasts."
"When is the last time that your uncle went here to kill all the undead?" Cartlon asked Phoax.
It took long for Phoax to answer the princess. Instead of answering Alice's query, the young man sighed heavily and gave her a meaningful, deep grimace.
Fortunately, Hatius, the kind and coward twin brother of Phoax answered. He said, "Yesterday, your majesty! We sauntered around the place to look for enough stocks when Uncle Morgan saw undead who are feasting on one of the survivors. That's the only thing that I know, your majesty."
Alice nodded and looked at him straight up into his eyes. She asked, "Then, how did you know that beheading and stabbing the undead's heart are the only keys to kill all of them?"
"Yesterday, as we fought for our lives, there's a man who suddenly showed up! He looks the same age as him, your majesty!"
Hatius glances at Cartlon. He added, "You have the same stature and as far as I know, he was looking for his lord who unfortunately taken away by one of a royal family."
"What are you trying to speak, young man?" Cartlon asked Hatius.
Hatius glances at his twin brother before telling what he knows. Phoax shook his head but he was too persistent.
He said, "As far as I know, that man was looking for the hideaway of the Princess of far far kingdom."
Phoax shouted, "Don't tell them everything, Hatius! Uncle Morgan would not hesitate to punish you as soon as I tell him what you have you done! Do not be a traitor in your own family!"
Hatius turned his gaze at him. His whole body was shaking but he managed to speak up. "No Phoax! If we will tell her what we know, there will we a big possibility to end this phenomenon! You and Uncle can not stop me, either."
His eyes became red out of his eagerness. Hatius said, "Spare my twin brother's life, your majesty! I, Hatius, son of a great warrior of Atlantis will let out everything!"
"Stop Hatius! Don't do it with us!" Phoax tried to stop Hatius but Cartlon quickly grasp his shoulders tightly.
There's no one who can't stop the princess with her mission. Anyone who will get into her way, and who will conspire will be punished accordingly.
At this point in their lives, Princess Alice will be tested. Her faith, hope and loyalty to her homeland. She must put an end before everyone turned into undead.
She must do whatever it is to commemorate her responsibilities and duties as the subsequent leader of Kingdom Alicesha.
Alice walked closer to Phoax and grasp his collar. She murmured, "Let him speak up the truth, young man. If you keep on insisting, you are giving me a reason to end your life at this moment."
"Do not come closer to me! Even though you are the next queen of this kingdom, I will never forget everything that my family went through because of the King; your father!" Phoax exclaimed.
Phoax was eaten by anger due to his family's past. He was influenced by his Uncle, Morgan who's planning for treason.
Princess Alice was startled upon hearing it. She can't imagine that there are a lot of people who felt hatred toward the King, her father.
She asked, "Do not use my father's name in vain! No one has the right especially you!"
Cartlon added, "Sealed your mouth before you regret reacting that way in front of the princess! You shall be punished!"
Without Alice's command, he heaves his sword and points it to the young man's neck. "No! Don't hurt him! I... will tell you now, your majesty!" Hatius knelt down and begged to spare Phoax's life.
Phoax exclaimed, "If that is what makes the princess happy then kill me now in front of my brother! Kill me now!"
Sweats were flowing from their heads due to the warm weather. Without the trees that blocking the sun rays, it would be distracting.
Cartlon was waiting for Alice's command while Phoax was breathing heavily. And, Hatius was kneeling down and was willing to kiss the princess's shoe for forgiveness.
However, the crows abruptly fly away from the corpses. Trees were dancing because of the strong wind and they can hear snarling.
"What is that?" Phoax asked.
The ground is shaking, the crows fly away and the place is difficult to see due to the dust. The snarling sounds from afar.
Cartlon sighed and said, "Prepare yourselves and cover the princess, now!"
"Get everything that you can see! It must be the undead that is approaching!" Princess Alice heaves her sword and cultivates herself for an attack.
(Snarling)
Until undead came out from the dust. All of them are snarling and looking for flesh.
Alice exclaimed, "Ready your weapons and behead the undead! That is the easiest way to overthrow against them!"
"Aye, your majesty!" Hatius and Cartlon replied.
"Grgggh!" Undead growled hungrily and angrily.
As the undead run nearer and closer to them, Phoax grabs his brother and whispered. "Let's go Hatius! Let them fight against the beasts and we will be going to escape!"
"No Phoax! We will not be going to escape and let them invaded. We should not do the same thing for the second time. Rather, we will fight together with the princess!"
By then, Hatius stood up beside the princess with an iron spear. Leaving Phoax with no choice but to stay with him.
"Attack!" Alice exclaimed as soon as the undead began to overrun them.
"Yaah!" Cartlon screamed as he swipes his sword and slash the undead's neck and stab their hearts.
Hatius said, "Stay away from my brother, beast!"
Little did Phoax know, that there is an undead who's striving to bite his shoulder.
Phoax breath in and said, "I owe you my life, Hatius."
