~ Third Person's Point of View ~
– At Prince Zeln's Hideaway –
Danaya's men were all disturbed and horrified upon knowing that Princess Shaotzie and Zachary had escaped and nowhere to be found.
They searched everywhere yet they found no one except those zombies who are waiting for a new victim.
"There's no traces of the princess and the swordsman! We already looked and rummaged every corner of this house, Captain!"
Dillon cursed out of frustration. Princess Danaya will get back anytime soon. He replied, "Inspect and investigate around the place, they must have been lurking here until now!"
All of them nodded and immediately obeyed onto the Captain's order.
"Where are you lurking at?" Dillon asked himself as his eyes are looking around. He was referring to the slaves who eluded.
On the other side, Princess Shaotzie was frightened and scared when she hears loud footsteps passing through the way. She was too hungry and thirsty that makes her more worried about it.
"Zachary must have failed to look for a way to get out from here!" Shaotzie uttered.
Her hands were shaking and she put down the dagger she was grasping with. Shaotzie was about to take a deep breathe when she accidentally hit the right side of the table.
The princess abruptly covered her mouth to avoid herself from making any disturbance. However, two of Danaya's men who pass by heard a loud noise coming from the wooden table.
It was long and wide enough for a young lady like Shaotzie to hide underneath it. "Where is that noise coming from?" One of them asked.
"There is no one around, perhaps there's someone hiding under the table!"
The princess was dumbfounded when she saw hands that were going to fold up the curtain. She was still holding her breath and was covering her face. Until she heard a footstep walking towards the area.
"Hurry up! Captain Dillon saw one of the slaves lurking at the Prince's compartment!"
Princess Shaotzie thought that the two men will vanish and disappear by hearing the news. Unexpectedly, there's someone who grasps her leg and pulled her out of the table.
Danaya's men burst into laughter when they found the Princess hiding and frightened. "Finally, we caught you, Princess! How gullible and foolish we are for not thinking such possibilities."
They grasp the Princess's arms and they make sure that Shaotzie cannot escape from them, for the second time.
She was trying to get off from their grip but she can't. Shaotzie screamed so loud, "DO NOT SHOW UP SWORDSMAN! I CAN PROTECT MYSELF FROM PRINCESS DANAYA; ESCAPE IF IT'S NEEDED AND ASK FOR HELP!"
Shaotzie was breathing deeply as she screamed. Her voice echoed around the place that makes them furious and frantic. "Zip your mouth, young lady! Or I will slash your neck, right here!"
However, the princess was too hardheaded. She insisted to warn Zachary and said, "OBEY WITH MY ORDERS, SWORDMAN! THEY HAVE CAUGHT ME BUT DO NOT LET THEM FOU–"
"I have warned you, princess! But you failed to follow our rules! Now, it's time for you to rest for a while."
With no fear and hesitation, one of them punches Shaotzie's stomach. She was too young to experience it but the young princess has no option but to endure the pain within.
Slowly, she closes her eyes as she passed out. It must be a mindblowing punch that makes her unconscious and oblivious.
On the other side, Dillon was searching for Zachary alone. He then saw a room at the end of the way.
It was too dark and eerie, yet Dillon urged to inspect what's inside of the compartment.
"It's too dark and vague yet the door is unlocked. There must be lurking in here." He whispered.
Captain Dillon was prowling stealthily. He then walks into the room and was about to open a door when he abruptly heard a loud noise coming from the living space of the hovel.
They halted from doing it and exclaimed. "They must have caught the princess!"
Dillon abruptly grinned and went off from the Prince's compartment. Little did he know, that Zachary was hiding at the back of the door he was about to open.
Zachary breathed out of relief; however, he felt disturbed and worried about the princess.
"I am sorry for failing you, Princess Shaotzie. But, I will make sure to find a way out from here!"
He told himself as he struggles to get out of the room. His wound is getting slowly healed and it's not bleeding profusely like the other day.
Zachary looked around the place and sought upon finding the secret way into the chamber. He was about to open it when he heard a loud voice; frightened and afraid moaned to be exact.
Zachary is right. Because Captain Dillon grasp Shaotzie's jaw and asked her in a defiant way. "Where is he? I know you know where's that swordsman is lurking at, Princess! If you will resist not to speak up the truth, I shall punish you without Princess Danaya's order!"
Swordsman heard Shaotzie's replied, "I do not know and I do not possess such magic to infer and to tell his exact location! Believe me or not, it is your preference, Captain!"
Captain Dillon twitched up his jaw because of angriness. He then turned around and tried to give the princess a chance to speak up the truth but he losses his control.
Shaotzie wasn't even prepared when Dillon slap her soft and vulnerable cheek. Not once, not twice but four times.
"You are a demon, Captain! You shall be punished, and whenever my sister discovered this. All of you will be beheaded and all of you will be going to be a feast of the walking dead!"
The princess thought that all of them will be frightened and terror. However, all of Danaya's men burst into laughter upon hearing it.
One of them said, "Your sister must be dead at this moment. And, no one can ever save you from us; from Princess Danaya!"
The princess burst into tears when she hears about Alice. It's not true!
Alice is not dead! Alice will look and will save her no matter what.
Zachary was still eavesdropping when Captain uttered that will break the Princess's heart. That will take her faith away.
"Princess Danaya will kill your sister, Princess. She will be killed. It is her motives and not to bring back the Prince to Atlantis!"
Shaotzie couldn't utter even a single word. She was surprised and horrified by the bad news.
She needs to warn Alice.
She needs to escape and to save the soon– to– be– queen or else, Danaya will civilize Alicesha.
