Elizabeth watched over the sleeping young woman before her.
She blinked her eyes when she noticed that Lothor was wide awake and peeked at Sahara too.
"After all these years, I thought Princess Shaotzie is the real younger sibling of Princess Alice."
"We can't go back to the past, old man. However, I am here to confess the truth. Yet, it seemed to be overdue and too late to put everything on its conventional stance."
Elizabeth took a deep breath as she walked closer to Sahara.
She cupped her face and gently caressed it.
"Asking for forgiveness would be worthless,"
"Ask for it when she wakes up, Elizabeth. Sahara will forgive you as I know that she's a kind and gold-hearted young woman." Lothor gave him an abrupt smile that made her heart fluttered for a moment.
Elizabeth replied, "You are right, old man. But I could not forgive myself when Billy failed to find and bring the only cure."
