"Hahahaha!" Gu Lin's laughter echoed along with the wails and screams of the spy grim reapers in the cold and empty halls of the underground prison of the Deserters' headquarters as Huo Ling torched the souls of the spy grim reapers using his fire.
This is really the literal picture of a tragicomedy (tragedy and comedy). The spy grim reapers are tragic because they are tortured while Gu Lin felt that this is very amusing, and so the tragic scene also looked like comedic.
"AAAAAHHH!!!" the spy grim reapers miserably screamed as their bodies violently shake due to the pain that they feel in their souls that are slowly but surely burned by Huo Ling's fire. They can't move that much because they were chained to the walls by the Deserters, like beasts from the ancient times.
