Ke Li told him before that he (KL) has to do something before he returns to him and takes him away with him. Since Fu Mingyan knows Ke Li, then Ke Li must be working with Fu Mingyan! No wonder Ke Li and his friends were doing charity work, to which no one has ever done before since either they felt disgusted to them who lived in slums, or they look down on them.
