Jin Wu was stunned as he stared at Yi Bing after he heard what the other said. "… who was it again that was issuing our missions through the Death Note?" he asked in a low voice. "Shen Taizi… Shen Taizi knows everything!" he exclaimed. "Yes… there is that Conferment Seal to monitor us… now there is our Death Note as another object to monitor us!" he said.
"It is not Shen Taizi." Yi Bing answered.
"… what?!" Jin Wu looked at Yi Bing. He thought that he heard him wrong. "What did you say?" he asked.
Yi Bing looked at him. "The Death Note was based from the Life Note." He told him.
Jin Wu froze. Suddenly, he has a vague guess. "You don't mean…?" he muttered as his eyes widened. "The Upper Heaven?!" he exclaimed.
Yi Bing nodded in affirmation. "Yes." he answered. "And the Life Note was operating through Fate." He said, then lowered his gaze when he spoke 'Fate'.
