"Are you sure that someone from above… and by mean of 'above', that is the Heaven, would come to deal with this matter?" Gu Xingfeng asked as he stared at Hao Baiyun who is sitting across him with a calm face as if what he said is just a senseless topic, which definitely isn't!
"Do you trust my calculations?" Hao Baiyun asked back as he looked at Gu Xingfeng in the eyes.
Gu Xingfeng almost subconsciously answered 'no', but upon seeing Hao Baiyun's gaze, he didn't answer. They have long been exhausted emotionally of their families' hostile relationship to each other that they have no become numb to it. They never have expected, though, for them to develop a sense of camaraderie from it strangely, and now, there seems to be something subtle bubbling from underneath the surface.
Hao Baiyun withdrew his gaze. "I felt it." he spoke.
