"Another one died?!" Gu Xingfeng's face darkened as he abruptly rose from his seat, making his swivel chair turn.
"Y – yes, chief…" the officer said. "The witness found the corpse when he passed by in an alley. He noticed because there was the smell of the blood. She came to look, only to be horrified when she saw the corpse." he explained.
"Where is the witness?" Gu Xingfeng asked as he pinched the space between his brows. He weakly fell on his seat.
"She has been too scared so Yi-jie is comforting her right now." The officer answered and wiped the cold sweat off his forehead. "Fortunately, this woman wasn't scared stupid or else…" he didn't continue what he is going to say.
Gu Xingfeng heaved a sigh as he weakly fell on his seat. "What about the culprit?" he asked.
"We didn't find any trace of him." the officer answered with a grim expression on his face.
