Ling San looked at the beaten Xin Wen who guiltily rubbed his nose and looked away as they both walk behind Huo Meiying, following the other in gathering information about her investigation on the death cases in Zhongming College.
Earlier, Ling San felt bored while Huo Meiying is talking to the school's staff so he went to take a nap up on the tree when suddenly, he heard the leaves rustling. He immediately opened his eyes and saw some leaves falling on his face. His eyes narrowed and sensed that something is falling. So, he reached out his hand, preparing himself when he didn't expect for a 'human' to fall on him! He almost broke his arm, as well as his ribs where the 'human' fell, which turned out to not be a 'human' since it is a grim reaper, Xin Wen!
"I'm really sorry for earlier…" Xin Wen spoke, breaking the awkward silence between them two.
