"Ow!" He grimaced as he pressed on his sides.
"Oh, no! Are you okay? Did he hurt you?" Zoe's inquisitive remarks suddenly changed into anxious ones as she carefully looked at his helpless savior in terrible pain.
"I don't know," Raigon continued on with his fake unbearable agony.
It is true that he struggled to aggressively go after the wicked man who vainly tried to kill Zoe. But as soon as he caught sight of him, he fled as fast as he could away from him.
What honestly tormented him was seeing Zoe in that vulnerable state.
