The dead body was taken in, the head and the body had been stitched together. Seeing such a dead body had made it difficult for her to hold it in, but then Robert's father combed his hair, cleaned and disinfected his wounds, making it even more weird. Daisy left, to go to his father's room, but the moment she touched the door, she was pushed back. Just that she turned around to go back, she felt a tap on her shoulders. She turned around, and was taken aback by the weird girl standing there.
"That was clean!!", Daisy said, still shocked a bit.
"I know. So what are you doing here?"
"I can not get to my father."
"You can't. Today night, he is supposed to be alone. You going in will only harm him."
"But he is like this because of me. I have got to do something about it."
"You will. You will have a time when you would be able to do something for him. But that time is not now."
Daisy knew the only thing she could do at that time was trust this weird girl, she did not know the name of, but she felt as if she should do that. She went back to her room and as soon as she switched on the light,
"AAAhhhhhhHHHHHHHH!!", she shouted on the top of the voice, it was the dead man sleeping peacefully on her bed, with a rat eating his flesh, which ran off, after Daisy switched on the light and shouted.
Everyone rushed down at once as Daisy stood there, completely shaken. Robert's mom hugged her to calm her down and said,
"We have given the room to him for a while, we can sleep upstairs with Athena, and Robert will sleep with his father. Let's go."
Daisy and Robert's mom slept together, and Athena kept nudging Daisy, till she placed her arms around her. The night was really long, as the images of the war, dead bodies, father and his pain, and the dead body with the rat kept coming back to her. Everytime she bulged, Robert's mom would hold her tighter and Athena would come even closer. The comfort, reminded her of home, of her mother.
