It was a dark alaskan malamute's breed dog, but seemed pretty happy in the high temperature, "Athena", her tag read. Daisy rubbed her softly, before making her way to the foreroom, followed by her.
She was greeted by three smiling faces, but the one she had saved was missing. An elderly aunt, around the age of her mother, came to her,"Thank you for saving Robert. Where's your clove?"
"Clove... You mean... home??" Daisy said, sounding confused.
"She doesn't know she's a witch..", the voice belonged to the boy she had saved, Robert.
"I am... WHAT!!!" Daisy almost raised her voice in shock.
"A witch. The signal for help, that you had heard was a matrix issue signal, only a witch or a warlock in a range of 10 km can hear it. And the spell-book can only be understood by our kind."
"So... I am a witch. But that's impossible... my parents are normal people."
"Maybe they resigned from the clove for some reason, or they hid the truth, I mean... You are a witch... and that too a really powerful one, there's hardly a single scratch left on me and my powers are almost restored. So, your both parents or atleast one of them, has to be like us." ,he sounded confident, which made her disturbed.
"Whatever you say, I need to ask my parents before believing you. How far is this from mountain's base? My parent must be worried sick!!"
"Have a meal before you go..", uncle said.
"Thank you for letting me stay yesterday. I better go...", she bowed with cortesy.
"You are the reason our son's alive. Thank you. After knowing your identity, if you feel like coming back, just use this fly-paper, it will send the message directly to me.", his mother smiled.
"Take my hand. I will teleport you near the base.", Robert stretched his had forward.
Daisy nodded and took the paper, before taking Robert's hand and noticing the look of malice in the girl's eye, the one that had been sitting quietly for the entire time.
