Chapter 1 - True Dragon - GoT Fanfic

-Game of Thrones Fanfiction continues from where the show left off, where Daenerys Targaryen's body is being carried away.

______________________________________________

Daenerys Targaryen's supposedly dead body was being carried away by her pet after being betrayed and stabbed by Jon Snow.

The creature heard the calls of one far above it sounding out, telling it to bring his master to him with promises of saving her.

Thinking of the girl as more than a master, but a mother, it was more than willing to help, plus it wasn't like it could ignore the powerful call that beckoned it over, feeling as though its very life hanged on its every wish.

A similar feeling he felt from his master/mother though far weaker than the one that called him now. It was the same feeling that prevented it from killing the betrayer, no matter how badly it wished to.

The creature flew fast and hard knowing time was of the essence, still, it was a long while before it finally reached a giant pit the lead right under a mountain. The cave was so big, it was easy to fly in unhindered with plenty of room for more.

Then it heard the voice for the first time as it neared the end towards another large opening. Where light manages to streak down into the middle of the chamber from an opening up top.

"Finally you have arrived." said a deep imposing voice that spoke from the shadows, echoing around the cave.

"Set her down in the middle there."

The creature roared out in frustration as it felt like its head was going to explode from one miss-step as it quickly obeyed the commands and collapsed off to the side, praying that it did well.

"Worry not, I will save your master... hmmm it is strange though, I was sure I was the last on this world, but then I suddenly felt her at the edge of my perception riding a wyvern."

"Yes this is strange, dragon blood definitely courses through her veins, but what strange dragon would lower themselves and mate with a filthy human bug." it snorted out in contempt.

Sighing he realized he was going to end up doing something similar, degrading himself in order to find a mate.

'This is different though' he thought to himself as he took comfort in the fact that he was going to eliminate the human side by increasing her dragon blood and awakening her dragon side.

A giant dragon claw reached out from the depths just above her, the size alone was imposing as it was big enough to squash the wyvern.

Empowering his thumb with a bit of dragonic magic, because he couldn't harm himself otherwise, he pricked his pointer finger as he hovered just above the girl's head. Concentrating he made sure it wasn't to big a wound or else he would drown her in blood.

He managed to squeeze only a single drop out into the girl's mouth before it closed. He then waited patiently for the results.

The wyvern though couldn't even move a muscle, afraid that it would die any second, the blood suppression was overwhelming and that aura.

As if noticing the wyvern for the first time the dragon spoke again- "Ah I almost forgot about you, I'll try my best to lower the pressure for you and the girl for when she wakes, should help you breath easier."

The wyvern didn't say anything as it tried to lower it's head even lower as it felt aggrieved that it in any way was becoming an inconvenience to him.

The Dragon couldn't help but chuckle at its antics after all its been a very long time since it been around others of it's kind even if it was a lower subspecies. He still remembered how much his true dragon aura made them squirm in his presence, not to mention the blood suppression.

Daenerys Targaryen at the moment was suddenly revived as she sucked in a deep breath before being assaulted by extreme pain as her blood burned. She felt as if molten fire was coursing through her veins.

For the first time in her life, she felt extremely hot as if she was burning from the inside, screaming out in agony, thrashing around as her body inside's changed.

The Dragon calmly watched on patiently, silently praying that it succeded and that she didn't die, he didn't wish to be alone again, he regretted some of the choices he made.

The wyvern also watched on as its mother figure screamed in pain, but could do nothing to help.

Finally, the screaming ended as a now smoking Daenerys laid back down in relief before passing out.

"Hahaha, excellent, she is a strong one." The Dragon said as a mighty chuckle escaped.

It was a day later before she awoke again sitting up confused looking around in front of her spotting nothing but darkness except the lighted area she now rested.

Trying to recall what happened, flashes of Jon came to her as she clutched her stomach from where he stabbed her. She then let out a mighty scream as she felt sadness and anger, sadness for being a fool, and anger at being betrayed.

"Ah, well I guess someone is up." said the Dragon as it was awoken from its nap.

Daenerys jumped at the unknown voice- "Who's there?"

"In due time, I think you first should attend to your servant, it has missed you dearly."

"Servant?" she asked as she looked around to find out where the voice came from, only to spot her beloved dragon child.

"Drogon!" she exclaimed as she jumped to her feet, running over to hug it.

Hearing its name, Drogon grew excited seeing her back up, but when she grew closer he flinched away before she could touch him as he felt further suppressed by her.

Daenerys confused by him suddenly looking so timid didn't think much of it as she tried to comfort him and approach to give him a hug she desperately needed.

"Shhh, shhh, Drogon, I'm here, I'm back, and I've missed you, your the only one I could ever count on," she whispered as she drew closer until she was hugging him, a single tear escaping her eye.

The Dragon not liking her being so close to a weaker species spoke- "You shouldn't get that close to your servants."

Daenerys grew angry at the comment- "Drogon is not my servant, he is my child! And I will not let some faceless thing insult him!"

"I see your dragon side taking over, that pride, is both good and bad, and something you need to learn to control though it is difficult, I still have difficulty with it from time to time."

Daenerys calming down thought about what he said as she came to realize whoever was speaking didn't fear Drogon and he was her strongest weapon.

Suddenly the rest of the words clicked- "Wait, what did you just say?" she asked thinking she misunderstood.

Ignoring her question he decided to get to the heart of things- "I have just saved your life, tell me what's that worth? Tell me what is it you wish for in your new life. Tell me what you would pay to have it done."

Daenerys furrowed her brows contemplating his words and everything that's happening. Flashes of Jon surfaced in her mind, along with Westeros and Kings Landing, the Iron Throne.

Clenching her fist she answered in a fully confident voice- "I thank you for saving me and as the queen of the seven kingdoms I will see you get your due reward, but I will not deal with a faceless entity."

Suddenly a booming laugh resounded through the cave- "Hahaha, you sure are interesting little dragon or maybe I'm just feeling nostalgic."

Hearing the loud voice she flinched as her ears rang in protest. Drogon was even worst off as he flattened to his belly again trying to appear as small as possible, which didn't go unnoticed by Daenerys as she wondered if maybe she's making a grave mistake if Drogon is too afraid to even fight.

Silence ensued as he didn't wish to continue to repeat himself while Daenerys didn't know what else to say.

Giving up she spoke- "Well if that's all, I think I'll be going now, come on Drogon." she said hopping on his back only to receive no response.

"Drogon?" still nothing as the wyvern laid there knowing he didn't want it to leave.

"Drogon! get up now!" she yelled at it, growing angry at the one last thing she trusted failing her.

"Why the rush? stay awhile and talk some more with me."

Hopping off the hopeless creature she began to yell again- "Why the rush? Why the rush? Some unknown person kidnaps me and my dragon, right after I was betrayed by one I cared for, just when I was within reach of everything I ever wanted... And now I'm stuck here while everything I did is crumbling away while they think me dead!"

She then heard a mighty rumbling as the dragon released a low sounding growl in disgust at calling that wyvern a dragon.

"You dare call that thing a dragon, how dare you belittle our kind in such a way."

The poor wyvern took the brunt of his displeasure as it groaned in agony at the pain from the increased pressure being released as well as the unfairness at being singled out for someone else's mistake.

Daenerys seeing Drogon in pain yelled out- "Stop it, your hurting him."

The dragon narrowed his eyes at her as his patience grew thin- "You dare command me!" he growled out as he sent pressure towards her making her fall to her hands and knees panting.

It continued until she apologized- "I'm sorry." she managed to say while struggling under the pressure.

Taking back the pressure he snorted fire which lit up the darkness, flashing his mighty form that she just managed to glimpse as she lifted her head.

Her eyes widened as she started to sweat at a now invisible pressure she felt from seeing his mighty form.

Stammering, she asked "Wha...What are you?"

Tired of games, he decided to let the cat out of the bag as he leaned his head out of the darkness.

"I am a True Dragon, not like that thing over there, that is what you call a wyvern a lesser subspecies."

Daenerys had her mind blown, mouth agape as she saw the giant black dragon head with orange slit eyes talking to her, not to mention she was just the size of one of its teeth, she couldn't fathom how something so big and powerful could even exist.

"Now if you close your mouth, I'll tell you what I will do for you and what I want in return as well as what I have already done."

Daenerys dumbly nodded her head as she closed her mouth now too afraid to do anything, it was one thing to talk bravely to someone she didn't know thinking it was just another human, it was another to talk nonsense in front of this powerful unworldly creature who could burn the whole of Westeros to ash without breaking a sweat.

"First let's start with introductions, I'm Borgaus, Last True Dragon on this world, well hopefully that changes, now introduce yourself."

Daenerys stuttered a little- "Oh, I'm, uh, I'm Daenerys Targaryen." she thought of other things to say, but found in mute to say in front of such a creature, opting to just go with her name.

"Daenerys Targaryen?" he asked before bursting into laughter, "Targaryen that crazy bastard was certainly desperate, why am I not surprised."

Daenerys not amused at her name being laughed at could only take it, what else could she do.

"Oh, I'm not laughing at you, it's just I knew your ancestor Targaryen, he was an eccentric Dragon, to say the least, but enough of that let's move on."

She could only agree despite having a multitude of questions.

"Now we'll start with what I have already done to you in order to bring you back. I gave you a drop of my blood, which in turn gave you many benefits as I'm sure you will soon discover once you take the time to investigate yourself. As you should know you already had dragon blood in you, this is what allowed you to control the Wyvern and is the reason he couldn't kill your attacker, no matter how diluted, it's still dragons blood that courses through his veins as it does yours.

My drop of blood of course upgraded you in many ways though as you shall discover, let's move on. Now I will tell you what I will do for you, I will fulfill your lingering wishes in the mortal realm and will provide you with more of my blood so you can continue to upgrade into a true dragon.

Now for what I want, this is simple, I want you to be my mate... What say you?"

Dragons had pride, and part of the pride was they would never stoop so low as to forcibly take a mate, they should by all rights come willingly on their own for them. This, of course, goes for both genders, females also can be powerful enough to have males running after her and she gets to pick and choose, it all depends on the individual's strength. This was also one of the leading reasons for the decline in the Dragon species as they are all so prideful and wish for others to come to them.

Borgaus being the last True Dragon now felt a need to continue the species line, lowering some of his pride as he tries to make a deal with Daenerys so he can mate and keep the Dragon race alive.

Daenerys didn't know what to say, she was intrigued about the dragon blood and how he wished to make her into a true dragon, but she still thought it somewhat impossible and could only frown at him wanting her as a mate... He was huge, she could only think of how he would break her in the attempt.

Growing impatient he asked- "Well?"

Daenerys frowning- "I still don't understand everything, how exactly will I become a True Dragon? And is that what is necessary to mate, will I even grow into a big enough dragon for you?" she asked not completely dismissing her options.

"I forget you don't know much about our kind, you should be aware though that your ancestor was a True Dragon and mated with a human though, as for how you will become a True Dragon, your body will slowly adapt as I give it more of my blood, it will refine you into an appropriate host that can handle it which will, in turn, change you slowly into a True Dragon like myself."

Daenerys rubbing her head- "Wait lets back up, my ancestor was a True Dragon, yes? How did he mate with a human?"

Borgas smirked as he pulled his head back into the darkness and came back out a man. A Handsom 6 ft tall black hair, orange eyes, and white skin so he could match her color.

Daenerys was taken aback by not only how amazing it was for such a giant creature could turn into something so small, but he was also extremely handsome as she felt her heart skip a beat.

Grinning, he walked up to her taking full advantage of her frozen stupor as he took her by the back of the head with his right hand and leaned in for a kiss. Caught off guard she just stood there as he worked his lips over hers, pushing his tongue inside to explore her mouth, leaving a trail of saliva when he pulled back.

Borgaus grinned- "For your Ancestor, it went something like that."

For the first time in her life she blushed, it wasn't just the fact that he was extremely handsome, but her body also reacted on a fundamental level which she suspected had to do with his blood now coursing through her or that fact that he was a True Dragon.

Gathering herself she began trying to figure out what was in store for her- "So you will help me in my endeavors and give me power as long as I choose to be your mate?"

Borgaus grinning nodded.

She had to feel him out, try and know who she was dealing with, what sort of person or dragon he was- "And if I say no what will happen?" Daenerys hesitated to ask but did.

Borgaus face fell, but he didn't get angry as he calmly answered- "Then I would leave you to your own devices as I wait for your return, should that not happen then I can only hope another is out there."

Daenerys felt relief internally as she fully believed him, not to mention he had no reason to lie with how powerful he was.

An image of Jon popped up in her head as she asked- "And what will you do about Jon?"

Borgaus- "Jon is?"

Daenerys gritted her teeth- "Jon is the other one with Dragon blood, the one who betrayed me."

Borgaus scoffed- "A blood traitor has no right to live, there are no good kinds of traitors but that is the worst kind, his death should be painfully long."

Happy to hear that he wasn't going to recruit him because he happened to have dragons blood had her sighing in relief. She wanted Jon to suffer untold horror before she put him out of his misery.

"One last question before I decide."

Borgaus grinned- "Go ahead and ask."

"If I decide to be your mate, what does it mean, will I be your wife/partner who you will share your time with, or will I just be someone for you to have offspring with?"

Borgaus simply stated- "Dragons mate for life."

He was smart enough not to mention that while they mate for life, that doesn't mean they stay together for life. Sometimes a newcomer who wants to mate with someone who is already mated with someone else will fight to the death for the right. If someone in an established couple wants to mate with someone else, they don't divorce they fight to the death. Since they were the only ones on this world it made little difference.

Daenerys no longer hesitated, having never truly fallen in love before, this was the furthest thing from concern when it came to picking a husband. However, she did feel something special from Borgaus, though it was a similar feeling of when she was with Jon, the dragon blood, she was still willing to explore it. She couldn't think of any reason to say no after being offered everything she ever wanted, only seeing benefits, she thought while unconsciously touching her lips.

"Alright I accept."
