Some of Kaiser's earliest memories are of books and magic. He was a prince, the heir of the vast kingdom. He only had the best of the best in everything. Though many of those memories have faded considerably during the bitter 10 years he's endured since the calamity. Aeternitas the grand magical kingdom in the east, Kaiser's home until he was 15, was suddenly and brutally eliminated from existence. Only a pile of smoking ash and crumbled buildings survived the strange happenings. The kingdom that produced the most powerful mage's and boasted the most destructive, and blessed, spells vanished with hardly a trace.
Kaiser was the only survivor. Though officially there were no survivors, since Kaiser was never found in the rumble. He spent 10 days trapped under a pile of rocks, precariously balanced against each other forming a tent like prison, before he was finally strong enough to blast a small hole for him to crawl out of. The view of the kingdom in shatters and burning around him engraved a fierce hatred in his heart for the one he blamed.
The right side of his face was covered in a massive scar that covered his eye and travelled down his cheek and neck and completely engulfed his right arm. Though at first glance the scar was eye catching to say the least, but otherwise it seemed like any other scar. Upon further investigation though a series of magical runes and incantations could be seen carved in to his body. In fact, these markings make up the scar, having them so tightly packed together so that each one nearly overwrites the one before. A pitch black chain weaved itself amongst the words and symbols, connecting them together as if the words themselves were its links. A simple lock is tattooed to the back of his hand that locks the two halves of the chain together. No one has ever seen a sealing enchantment as complex as the one displayed on Kaiser's body.
The enchantment that Kaiser himself, at the age of 15, etched into his skin for reason's unknown. He was a genius according to his teachers and people. They are all gone now and Kaiser could do nothing else but weep in frustration, anger, and sadness in the burning vestiges of his fallen kingdom.
