But the blush that spread across her face didn't go unnoticed. Elize and Nina exchanged a knowing smile. Ever since the day of the kidnapping, Skye's relationship with Brandt had taken a turn for the better, though neither noticed the change.
Brandt had tended to a feverish Skye without sleep or food until she had recovered which had managed to melt the girl's heart slightly. Elize had even spotted the girl looking at her mate jealously as he joked with one of the female pack members. The Luna smiled, thinking back to her own state of mind when she had first spotted Zack with Nina.
"So will he like only me his entire life?" Skye asked shyly, keeping her eyes on the ground.
