Elize watched as the head witch asked the couple a few questions. There was a general air of merriment and laughter. Alex went on to talk in length about how much his bride meant to him, making her throat burn with an imminent waterfall from her eyes. Her brother was finally getting married to his mate, and tomorrow, it would be her turn, she thought, dabbing at the corner of her eye.
It was only yesterday that they were running around their house, pulling pranks on each other, making sure to stay out of their grandmother's way. Then when they heard the ring of the oven, they'd rush to the kitchen for their mother's cinnamon rolls.
