Zack's POV
It has been almost three months since they had declared their engagement to the witches and wolves of the Island. Soon after they had returned from the faery kingdom, he had told Elize that they could break off their engagement if that was what she wanted. He knew even when she came along with him that she had left her heart with the prince. Though it was so, he was glad that finally, she was back by his side.
During the first few days, it had been awkward between the two of them. Zack's days had passed with him watching her from a distance and attending to pack duties which had at that time been a handful. One day Elize had come up to him to tell him that she would like to start sorting out her responsibilities as the Luna of the pack. He had immediately agreed, knowing that he could not let this chance go. This was his road to redemption.
