"There you go, Grace." She said, handing the plate back to the little girl.
"Thank you," Grace said, smiling shyly.
"Run along now," Elize said, patting the girl on her head. "Make sure to eat everything on your plate."
Grace nodded meekly. She glanced around the table nervously before quickly taking off in the direction of the table nearest to the kitchen. A few older kids who were sitting at the table looked at Grace's plate jealously as they continued stuffing their mouths with food. Elize turned back to her own plate, laughing at the kids. They were weird little animals, always asking her for rides and wanting to brush her white fur whenever she shifted.
"See what I mean?" Nina asked, nodding towards Elize.
"Oh, I see it," Skye replied, wiggling her brows at her.
