Chapter 153 - Chapter 153: The small hut

Elize looked around the shabby looking courtyard. Torn blankets and sheets were hung on strings outside a little thatched house. There was no garden or even a gate. A muddy path beside a busy market led to a group of shoddy huts out of which only the one she was standing before looked occupied. She wondered if it was a slum. If it was, then where did the rest of the inhabitants go? Why was there only one house standing like a haunted place?
