As the carriage stopped in front of the enormous gates of the manor, Luna straightened, peering out the window while waiting for one of the guards to open the iron barriers. Her eyes scanned the surroundings, observing each and every nook and cranny, bend, and rise of the walls that encircled the place.
'The two of them might be our greatest obstacles.' The Dam Sehlah noted, diverting her attention to the wolves posted on top of the guard tower.
The goddess nodded in agreement, making a mental note of it. The ride back to the manor was almost as quiet as the one to the forest. Except for a few questions asking her opinion on what she thought could have been behind the attack, and her reasoning behind it, the Lord was more or less caught up in his world.
