Chara was slowly growing closer to the queen as the days passed, she didn't feel uncomfortable or uneasy anymore but rather at peace and she found herself harbouring some feelings for the demon which she made well known by sharing that willing kiss. Lucy had also been more kind and gentle towards her which she greatly appreciated.
The rabbit was currently in the same bedroom she had been cooped up in since she arrived, she wished she could explore but that's probably not the best idea in a coven of demons. She let out a small sigh and got up from the bed to look out at the sky from the balcony, she loved it out here it was so warm and comforting, leaning against the railing she found herself dozing off a little and failed to hear the door opening, she did however feel the pair of arms wrap around her waist and pull her close to a warm chest.
"not the smartest idea to be falling asleep at such a height now is it?" Chara sheepishly shook her head with a small grin appearing on her face and this made Lucy let out a small laugh.
"come on let's get you wrapped up and really warm" Lucy had found out Charas craving for warmth not too long after their kiss and ever since then she's been trying to keep the rabbit as warm as she could, Chara appreciated it but lately it's all shes been doing, anytime she was out the bed Lucy would bring her back and wrap her up with a small magic flame next to the bed to act as a mock fireplace, she wanted to explore! not be stuck in bed all day! the rabbit sighed to herself and wriggled out of all the covers and blankets that surrounded her though she immediately regretted it as the cold air hit her at once as her paws hit the cold floor, this was hell, why is it cold!? she grabbed a blanket and wrapped it around her small frame as she made her way out of the bedroom doors and scanned the hallways wondering which way she should go.
After a while of pondering she decided to go left down the long narrowed hallway tinted a dark purple colour for some reason the colouring made her feel uneasy and she wondered if she should turn back... "no if I go back I have to get into the bed and do nothing all day again" she whispered to herself as she continued the path that suddenly felt like it went on forever and before she knew it she was staring at the bedroom doors, did she take a wrong turn? no.. there were no turns to take!
"are you lost?" a sweet voice called out to her as her whole body froze up, Lucy did tell her that if she left the room she might run into dangerous demons, what if they are one of those demons, was this it? was she going to die?
