"You're free to go," Roldan said, mimicking the voice of the elf that freed him in a mocking tone. "You're free to go."
It had been four days since the elves freed him, leaving him with nothing but a loincloth covering his crotches and a waterskin that was now half empty. And it has been half a day traveling the forest blindly without drinking water.
He raised the waterskin from his left, swallowing air as he stared at it. He clicked his tongue, fighting the urge not to drink the water. He could live off without food, but never water.
"Two more days," he grunted, shaking his head as he continued to venture into the dimly lit forest. "Two more days."
