"I don't think so," Rassus said, voice rumbling as usual. "You'll be useless to me if your body is all battered up."
Ned rushed forward, meeting the giant-like captive. Every step he took left a popping sound from his limbs. The ripples of dark hummed under his fist as he focused more of his Soul on it.
"Leave!" Rassus said, rattling Ned's head. But Ned did not listen. The collar on his neck shone silver for every lamp he passed through.
Ned bent and slid on his knees evading a massive hand gliding over him.
Ned rolled to turn around and face the captive. He roared to madness which fueled the crowd's excitement, and ran back to the captive, uncaring about the size difference and power desperately.
