Katsuya was asleep underneath his angel soft blanket as the sound of ringing rudely woke him. His hand reached out and tapped the around bed around, searching for his phone. As he grabbed it, he sat up, visibly tired.
His hair was messy and looked as if he had been hit by a tornado.
"Who could be calling?" Katsuya thought to himself.
{Caller: Jill}
{Answer/Decline}
He tapped his thumb on the 'Answer' button and held the phone upto his ear.
"Hello, what do you want?"
"Did I call at a bad time?" Jill asked.
Katsuya unintentionally had a rude tone due to his tiredness. Realizing the way he had sounded, Katsuya roughly shook his head in order to wake himself up.
"No, sorry if I sounded rude, I just woke up. So, why did you call?"
"I called to tell you about my dad's funeral. It's today, will you be there?"
"Yeah, text me the time and location." Katsuya replied.
"Okay, I'll text you the details. I'm hanging up now."
{Call Ended}
Katsuya looked at his phone screen as a notification popped up.

As he tapped his finger on it , the messages came into view.

Time: 11:23 P.M

"Well, I guess it's time to get ready."
Katsuya quickly brushed his teeth then washed his face with cold water once he finished.
He was now fully awake with no sign of tiredness whatsoever.
Katsuya grabbed his phone and checked the time.
{9:36 A.M}
He was going to travel by foot, which meant it was going to take him almost three times as long to get to the funeral than traveling by car. With this knowledge in mind, Katsuya began hurrying up.
He ran to his room and opened his closet.
"I guess it's finally time I wore this."
Katsuya was staring at the top of a tuxedo tha hung from a hanger.
Only Five minutes had passed and He was finally ready, dressed in a clean nice looking tuxedo.
"Okay, I should get going now."
['Sora' has added new Quests]
Katsuya was surprised as he had not received any quests when he had gone to the dungeon yesterday, other than when he first got the A.I, this was his first time receiving a quest.
"Sora, show me the quest list."
A transparent screen came into view.

"These seem pretty easy to do. Okay, disappear. I better start walking."
As he walked out of his room, he grabbed an umbrella that stood in the hallway. He had remembered the forecast for this week from when he watched the news a couple days ago.
He walked out of his front door as he looked up at the dark clouds that hovered in the sky. The smell of rain ran up his nose as it began sprinkling.
"I like rain, it brings back memories from my days of grade school."
The specific area that Katsuya lived in, the weather was usually cloudy and it would rain a lot. He took a deep breath in from his nose, enjoying the smell of rain.
He opened up his umbrella and began walking.

As Katsuya arrived, he saw a crowd of people wearing dark clothing. They all stood around a closed casket. Almost every person there had tears running down their cheeks. Some wiped them away with tissues, while others just let them fall down their face. Katsuya walked closer to the crowd then noticed one particular girl. She had long brown hair and wore a black dress and had tears running down her face as she stood there, crying.
It was Jill.
Katsuya moved and stood next to her as she noticed him. She wiped her eyes with a tissue and began talking as she tried not to cry.
"You actually made it."
Katsuya still couldn't help but think that Genzo's death was all his fault as he replied.
"Yeah, I did. Why would I miss it? After all, he's the reason I'm still alive."
"No, he's the reason we are both alive." Jill replied.
Katuya then spoke with a sad look in his eyes as he stared at the wet grass below him.
"Yeah, you're right."
He walked over to the casket and placed his hand on it , speaking a quite sad tone to Genzo, who laid inside.
"I didn't really know you but, from what I can tell, you were a caring guy. You died protecting me and jill. You even gave me your coat, hoping that it would protect me in the future. During your last moments, you told me to take care of Jill for you, I haven't forgotten. I'll do my best, sir."
The wind began gently blowing as it started to rain.
Katsuya turned around and walked back to the crowd.
He couldn't help but feel for Jill as she cried. Katsuya then wrapped his arms around her and hugged her tightly.
"It's okay, he's a better place now."
Her tears stopped for just a brief second as she felt comforted by his warm arms that tightly held her. Once again, the tears began rushing out from her eyes.

Katsuya then thought to himself.
"I'm not doing this because it was a quest. I'm doing it because it's what I should do."

3 Hours Later…. After attending the funeral, Katsuya went home and switched into his normal clothes, a black short-sleeve shirt and black pants.
He sat on the couch, lazing around and watching the news.

"Oh, so they're finally meeting. I've always wondered how they would react to each other."
"Alternate World" Was the original world where the monsters had come from. It was a place that lacked modern technology and didn't have the use of guns or cars. People of that world would travel by wagon or horse and use bladed weapons. Bow N Arrows for long range. The only way way this world knew of the other worlds exitance was because of a specific adventurer named 'Amaya'
She had the ability to create portals that lead to each world. Amaya claimed she had woken up in the alternate world before the monster began appearing in this one.
She was in the top ten strongest adventures among both worlds.

The "Alternate World" suffered from lack of strong adventurers as most were killed trying to clear a Legendary-rank dungeon, A rank that this world had not even heard of.
Katsuya grabbed the remote and pressed his thumb on the 'Off'
Button, turning off the screen.
He stood up and put on his long brown coat.
"That's enough news for today. It's time for me to head back to the dungeon. Today, I'm not going to stop until it's cleared."

After leaving his house, he walked to the forest and went into the cave\dungeon.

3 Hours of walking had gone by and he was now where he had left off.

It was the area where long stalagmites hung from the top off the cave and a large pool of glowing blue water was.
He continued to walk past the area and into a large tunnel. His footsteps echoed and his breath was visible as it started to get cold.
There were glowing icicles hung from the roof of the tunnel. There also seemed to be some ice in some places on the floor.
"It feels like winter here. I wonder what kind of monster I'll be facing."
His walking came to a stop as he remembered something.
"I completed a quest by entering the dungeon, right? Sora, what's the prize."
He then heard a soft female voice inside his head, which then replied.
"For your prize, you will be able to choses from a list of skills. Showing you the list now."
A transparent screen came into view.

1.Survival- When you survive yout Hp hitting 0,your stats will permanently
increase. Hp + 100% , Intelligence 1% , Mp+ 100% , Atk +100% ,
Speed + 10% , Endurance +10%
2. Monster- Monster: In exchange for taking one year off of your lifespan,
All other stats besides 'Intelligence' will be doubled and all emotion
barriers will temporarily be removed. Last until your opponent\opponents
are defeated.
2. Mana Revive- When your Hp reaches "0", even if your Al is also at "0"
your remaining Mp will be used to heal your and bring you
back to life.}
Katsuya stared at the list but wasn't sure which one he should pick as they were all good choices.
"Sora, surprise me."
"Very well, then, Katsuya." The voice replied.
[New Skill Learned: Monster]
He had read the skills description when he looked at the list so he knew what the skill was.
"That's a strange choice." Katsuya thought to himself.
He starred further off into the tunnel as he began walking.
"I better keep going."
