She was talking to Stan. He's one of the guys that she used to hang out with ever since she broke up with her ex.
She took her breakup really hard because it was the first time she got her heart broken... And after that, she stayed swayed from commitments and serious relationships.
She would just hang out, have dinner, party with different guys and then she would disappear. It became a pattern that she became comfortable with.
