Chapter 42 - Kyle Rollands

Seth•••

"No I don't see an object

And I probably should've told u

I heard he's back

(I know)

And I probably shouldn't want

This so baaadddd-" {this is Undecided by CB}

"Hello?" I asked into the phone after singing along for a while.

"Seth?"

"The one and only" I buffed up my chest.

"Of course its you. I know you couldn't resist my call" he said haughtily.

And I know I can't resist throwing a punch. "What can I help you with Lance?"

"Only princess gets to call me that. It's Houston to you Mister"

I raised my brow. Was this guy kidding me? I don't give two flying shit who gets to call him-

"Wait who's princess?"

"I knew you'd want to ask...by the way move ya dirty ear from tha phone"

"Hm?" I mumbled. Then I peeled the phone from my face to see that it was now on a video chat. "What's with the switch?" I asked irritated.

"Coooosss, I knew you couldn't ask to see my face so I'm giving you free access to see my handso—"

Tut tut. Never thought I'd like that sound.

Narcissistic b-dude.

I silenced the phone and plugged it before I strutted to the bathroom. My nose wrinkled from the terrible smell that slapped my nose the moment I opened the door. "What the-BAILEY!!???"

There she was with her nose wrinkled from the bad smell. She grinned at me but then she closed her eyes.

I shook my head trying to understand the scenario in front of me. Bailey was sitting on my toilet sit. Her pants and underwear down. I averted my eyes and focused on her face.

"Oh my God Bails, what happened? Are you okay?"

"No I'm not. My tummy hurts really bad and the poop is watery"

My nose scrunched up at that. "Why didn't you go to YOUR bathroom?!"

I mean. Look at the mess on my floor. There is poop on my fucking floor. Oh my God. My OCD is about to act up.

"Yours was closer. I'm sorry, Bax" she said weakly.

*sigh* "Its okay. And...don't call me that"

"I'm-"

"Stop saying sorry baby. I'll call mom okay?"

"Okay" she nodded. She stayed on the sit staring at the mess surrounding her feet. "And I'm sorry for vomiting on the floor"

That was vomit? Oh. I felt the familiar heat in my cheeks but I coughed so she wouldn't notice. *cough cough* "Yeah. Isn't the smell choking you? I mean don't you wanna get outta there?"

"The floor's dirty"

"Oh yeah? what was ya first clue?"

She just grinned at me before spacing out for two seconds. She now pouted and batted her eyes. "Carry me?"

"Well I don't exactly have a choice do I?"

She giggled. "Nopety nope"

I rolled my eyes. I'm sure they nearly reached the heavens. I went back into my room to get a pair of flip flops.

I scrunched up my nose before stooping to lift Bailey who had already worn her pants. Carrying her wasn't a problem. She was feather weight.

The PROBLEM was when she barfed on me. Yes she puked on me-topless. My entire chest was covered in vomit. I almost puked as well.

URGH!!! Little kid vomit.

Anyways, I took bailey to her OWN bathroom and set her down nice and easy in the tub before spinning around to clean up the mess she left for me.

By the way, in case you were wandering why my first action was to look for my phone.....well isn't it obvious? I'm a teenage boy. Our phones shouldn't be messed with.

And somehow Bailey has access to my passworded phone. I wonder how. Maybe its because my password is Beth...

[A/N: what was you first clue genius?]

Well, I'm not going to change it anyways. I thought of all this as I jogged down the flight of stairs to get some cleaning materials to clean the nasty mess back upstairs.

As I was walking back to the stairs I heard the front door open and close. I turned around to see who it was...mom.

She looked at me with her nose scrunched up. "I don't even want to know what that is"

She pointed at the barf that was still on my sculpted chest. Yes, its nice to be narcissistic.

"Well, she puked on me when I carried her so..." I trailed off. That's when I took a good look at her. Her shoulders were slumped. And her eyes had bags under them, which she obviously tried to use concealer to cover.

Yes people I know various make up items. Come and get me.

"Mom?"

"Yes son?" she tried to smile away her dullness.

"Are you alright? Was work hectic today?" I said moving closer to her. She just side stepped me.

"Yes, work was hectic, but I'm cool"

I just blinked at her. Who taught her that word? Definitely McKenna. "Okay let's go tend to Bails. She's in her tub by the way. I'm guessing that you'd wanna clean her up before taking her to the hospital" I spun on my heels trying to hurry up. I had a date to catch.

"Who said I'm taking her to the hospital?" mom asked.

I gave her an "are you being serious right now?" look. "Well mother, thee would need to take thy youngest to the physician or else her illness deteriments"

"What's with all the big words?"

I rolled my eyes at her. Way to go mom. And no you didn't make me sound stupid just now.

"I don't have to explain mom. Now if that's all I have cleaning to do and a date to hurry to"

She cocked her brows at me.

"I swear I didn't mean to rhyme" I gave an awkward laugh and sprinted to my room.

I cleaned and cleaned yet the fudging smell still remained. In simple terms....my room is stanky.

I sprayed all the febreze that I could find. I practically emptied two bottles before I was satisfied.

Mom and Bailey left about half an hour ago. Mom stopping at my door to whisper "use protection"

I have a handful of crazy females around me. From a crazy mom to crazy sisters and a crazy soon-to-be girlfriend.

I took a bath because a shower would do me no good in ridding myself of the sweat and barf smells. I came out feeling so refreshed.

I had already matched my clothes in my head at school so I had no qualms. I was dressed in less than ten minutes.

Wait...where my phone? I saw it on my bed few minutes ago. Tsk. Who has access to my room? Everyone. Who has access to my phone? Oh my God.

"BAILEY!!" I shrieked and trust me when I say that its not a sound boys should make.

I almost flew to her room. Before I could pound on my door and demand for my precious gadget, I heard a muffled voice down the corridor.

Squinting my eyes like a toad in daylight I tiptoed to the source of the noise. It was coming from the guest bathroom. I could hear a little bit clearer now...okay not really but enough to know that it was mom's voice.

She sounded like she was crying and angry and channeling it through small whispers. If that makes any sense.

"How dare you" pause "don't tell me that" pause "I can't believe you right now, you want to meet up after two years of ignoring him?" pause "no he will not see you, Kyle and I don't give a damn if you were in a bad place for the past two years. Just don't ever call my son again" a longer pause.

Kyle....Kyle Rollands. That's my dad. It was this kind of stuff that made me wish I wasn't smart enough to piece things up.
