"Child…" Elder Jones' old and aged voice echoed from behind. Subconsciously Elijah turned to look behind and noticed that Elder Jones was standing there behind him with a worried expression on his face.
"Grandfather, why did you came up here?" Elijah knitted his brows as he passed a chair to Elder Jones to sit while he went ahead and grabbed a glass and a jug of water. He filled the glass and passed it to Elder Jones to drink. His breathing was too fast and uneven just now, probably because of climbing up the stairs.
"Grandfather, you are not allowed to climb up stairs like this. You know your knees are living by your side, yet, still you consider yourself as young and youthful the way you were thirty years back." Elijah's comments made Elder's face darkened as he snorted and gritted his teeth while scolding Elijah.
"What do you mean by thirty years? I am still young. Do you understand?"
Elijah only chuckled in response as he nodded his head and said.
