Edward remained rooted on his spot as he was too shocked to say anything. Elijah's words had surprised him and as well as hitted him to come back to reality and shake off the anger which was on top of his head. When Edward realised what did he had said to his son he could not help but feel regret all over spreading on his chest. His heart was aching for his son to whom he had just scolded and said that he was doing everything intentionally even though he knew that Rick was indeed involved in doing something wrong and must have done something wrong again.
