"Gift?" Sasha's eyes sparkled when she heard him. She turned abruptly to look at the man standing behind her with her lips gasped in surprise.
Aaric was completely satisfied on seeing her reaction. Nodding his head, he stretched his hand towards her as he gestured to her to take the gift from her. Sasha sat on the edge of the bed as her hands quickly started unfolding the wrapped gift. Her eyes glistened with surprise when she saw the pair of rings sitting on the blue velvet cloth.
Parting her lips she looked at the man standing in front as tears clouded her sight. The gift he bought for her were the rings… And these rings were speaking so brightly.
"Rings… You…"
"Come." Aaric took her hands in his as he bent down on one knee and looked at her gently.
"Even though we are a legally married couple but ever since you have woken up you didn't wear our wedding ring. So today along with these rings, I am going to make a promise to you."
