When Edward Jones heard his son's Elijah's words his felt a deep stab in his heart. He stared at his son for a long time. He did not know what he should say to him. He looked at his father in hope that maybe he could convince, but it seemed that the old man was in favor of his grandson.
"Don't look at me for any kind of help. What he is doing is correct, you were the one who forced him earlier. Now when you are aware about his capabilities, you want him back in the company? You have to bear the results of your actions."
Edward Jones lost his last hope. He thought that Elijah would never say a no to his grandfather's order, but this time the old man was in his grandson's support only.
" Father, I did not sign his resignation letter. It seemed as if it was all a pre-planned trapped. Just think why would I do something like that to him?"
Elder Jones could not help but sneer inwardly when he heard his son. Letting out a mocking laugh, he said.
