Aaric and Alleyn looked at Elder Smith with a surprised face.
Aaric looked back at the two two red ruby stones in his hands and then casted his eyes back on his grandfather as he asked him.
"Grandfather… you… You have seen these?" His voice was laced with surprise as well.
Although Aaric and Alleyn had already sensed some familiarity they were not fully sure. However now when Elder Smith seems to recognize this as well, it looked as if their previous instincts were somewhat true.
Elder Smith knitted his brows and clenched his jaws as he stared at the stones in his grandson's hands. After a long time, with his trembling hands he took the packet in his hands while with the other he supported his body with the cane.
