When Aaric finished speaking, he looked at his grandfather in front and observed his reaction. To his surprise, he looked calm. And the tensed expression from earlier had vanished as well but his eyes still looked dull.
"Grandfather… do you know about these stones?" Aaric asked after a long silence. He gave the old man enough time to calm down and then when he saw that he was normal he asked.
Elder Smith's eyes flickered and his face was void of any emotions, so it was quite hard for Aaric to guess what he was thinking or feeling.
"These… Don't you remember?" He looked at his grandson and forced a bitter smile as he asked.
Aaric frowned slightly as he nodded his head in agreement. He felt slight familiarity but he was not sure so he after a few minutes he expressed his thoughts.
"Grandfather, I feel like I have seen this earlier but I am not sure. Everything is quite a blur in my memory."
