Aaric was heartbroken when he heard her cries. And the most frustrating thing was she was not willing to tell him about what had happened. He adjusted her position and placed her head on his chest and patted her head.
In between he made her drink some water and continued to pat on her chest gently.
When he noticed that her cries had stopped, he looked down and saw that she was sleeping soundly in his arms, however her shoulders were still trembling. He covered her with a blanket and continued to pat her gently for a long time.
After a few minutes, he placed her on the bed and placed a pillow under her head. She moved a little bit, however Aaric was constantly patting her so after stirring slightly on the bed she slept again.
