Aaric had already informed Alleyn not to wait for them as they will be heading out and will be late. But it looked that his plan of heading out with his wifey had somehow got obstructed. His body turned stiff when he saw Sasha and his grandfather looking at each other.
He eyed the old man, gesturing him not to bring up anything from the past. However the latter felt a little bit disappointed. Did his grandson think so cruel of him that he will hurt his own granddaughter-in-law?
However Aaric could not be blamed here. In the past he actually wanted him to stay away from the girl so there will be no emotions left inside of him to stop him from being the heartless person. But things started to change when he noticed the importance of this girl in his grandson's life. In order to protect her and stay by her side, he actually finished his training far earlier than the old man had expected. His grandson actually surpassed him.
