Amanda did not know how she was going to reach the hospital. The rain was too heavy as well. And the drizzle had already turned into a heavy downpour. She had casually switched on the television to pass her time and did not expect to see that sudden news. Without even caring about her dress, she just took her purse and went out. She was just wearing a thin layer of knee length dress, and when she came out, the sudden strong cold wind made her shiver.
She rubbed her hands and continued to move ahead. She wanted to call for a taxi but it was already too late. Just then she recalled that she had a number of one of the taxi drivers while she used to live in the apartment before moving over to Alleyn's house.
She quickly called for the taxi and hopped in.
