"Speaking of her, did your doctor friend has consoled Amanda?" Sasha asked as she entered Aaric's office and the latter followed after her.
"I don't think so. I'll call him today." Aaric placed his phone on the table and sat on his leather chair. Sasha walked ahead as she looked outside the glass balcony and seemed to be in deep thoughts.
Aaric opened his laptop and typed the password to log in. He turned his head to look outside, just then his gaze shifted on his wifey and noticed that she was frowning.
Looking at her tensed face, Aaric also became tense. He stood up from his chair and walked towards her. When he was a step away from her, he asked her.
"What's wrong? Is something bothering you?" His words made her return to her senses and her eyes shuddered slightly. She tilted her a bit and looked at him before replying.
"The work at the lab is completed, right?"
"Yeah."
