Aaric was stunned when he heard her. He looked directly into her eyes to read what was on her mind but couldn't. Her eyes were exceptionally clear.
"Do you doubt that I would have lied to you about our marriage?"
"No, I don't mean in that way. What I meant was…"
"You are already married so how are they supposed to public fake news…" Sasha had lowered her head. She didn't want him to read her inner thoughts which he always does.
Aaric smiled wholeheartedly at her reply. He nodded his head and replied.
"Don't worry. Such news won't surface in future."
"And my intention to keep your identity hidden was just to keep you safe." Aaric did not want anything to come in between them which might cause their relationship to develop any kind of knot.
"I trust your words. Let's finish the meal." Sasha did not wish to dwell more. Since he had already promised her, then why should she question him again and again.
