Alleyn and Remo confusedly looked at each other. If the dead body is of the male then where is Amanda? Alleyn's state of mind was not in a good condition. He could not think properly. Remo on the other hand quickly texted Aaric about the sudden news.
In the hospital room, Sasha was eating Steak-frites while Aaric peeled a few oranges for her to eat after it. When he noticed that the phone screen showed a message from Remo, he quickly opened the message box. As soon as he read what Remo texted, a crease formed on his forehead.
Sasha who busily munchkin on her food, noticed his expression and extended her hand. The sudden warmth made him snap back to his senses. He caught her fingers and kissed on her finger tips which made Sasha shocked. Aaric noticed her widened eyes and chuckled. He cleared his throat and asked her.
"Did you like the steak?" Though he could easily guess her answer when he saw how she was eating just a moment ago, savouring each bite.
