Elijah looked at the black screen and sighed softly. He knew he was going to get a good scolding once he reached home. He pinched the space between his brows and could imagine the tough time that was coming for him.
Edward was amused when he saw Elijah being so anxious. He glanced at his clenched fists and could not help but ask.
"Was it your wife?"
Elijah came to his normal self and just nodded his head and remained silent. None of them spoke for a few minutes. The elevator just reached the top floor when Edward said.
"If you are not feeling well, you can go home. I have seen the reports of the company and it is good." The trio exited the elevator and headed towards the cabin area.
"It's fine." Elijah pushed the door of his cabin and entered. He switched on the lights and walked towards the coffee dispenser. He stopped and turned to ask.
"Coffee or tea?" Before Edward could say anything, he gestured to his secretary to go over and do it.
