Chapter 15 - Tungsten

Magnius nodded in agreement. "At any rate, we need to find our new house guest a proper bed, dresser, mirror, and whatever else she may need." Magnius said as he moved closer to Silf. "Azyrath, can you take Kollagoth into town for that?"

Azyrath nodded and departed. Silf could now hear her yelling something at a yet unseen fourth person. Kollagoth she suspected was hidden off some place within the still unexplored depths of the house.

"I need to check Silf's injuries and I'd rather not make a show of this." Magnius said waving a hand through the air producing a small white metal box from thin air. "Zyom can you begin cleaning out my storage room for that please?"

Once it was just Magnius and Silf left in the room he locked the doors and closed the windows. Blocking the light of the sun once more. "I need you to strip, please." He spoke with a solemn cautious voice.

"I need to clean and redress your wounds but I also want to give you a proper check-up. Are you ok with that?" He explained setting the box aside and pulling from it fresh bandages and an ointment.

He wasn't comfortable with asking Silf to stand naked in front of him but he'd much rather know she was in good health, or more likely, her overall condition and what needed immediate treatment.

Silf nodded and made to pull the dress up over herself but was stopped short. His hand halting her progress. "Hold the dress infront yourself. You've no need to expose yourself for this." He then turned away.

"Yes sir." Silf replied struggling for a moment to untie the knot Zyom had put the shoulder straps in. Once undone and removed she did as asked and held the dress to her chest. "I'm ready, master."

As Magnius turned back around he was greeted with a grim reality. She was worse then he'd thought. Or remembered from just a few hours before. Her ribs showed through the fabric of the dress held tight to her frame.

He scowled at her pitiful appearance as he set to work. He noted she was quite resilient given her condition. He'd expected that given Zyom's retelling of his encounter with the noble she'd be in much worse condition.

Minor scrapes and bruises covered her entire body from head to toe but nothing major. It was actually quite impressive he thought she was even on her feet given how badly her feet were scraped up nevermind the bruise on her leg.

Magnius worked swiftly to disinfect the wound on her head and redress it with a clean bandage. Taking time after to inspect her broken horn more closely. She had no feeling in it, though the intact one retained sensation.

"How did it happen?" He asked pulling her restored hair aside to look for any unseen wounds. She had some lumps from swelling but nothing concerning. Even still, any minor wound could get infected and cause future complications.

"One of my earliest masters smashed my head into a wall, sir." Silf explained allowing him to once again direct her head as he willed. She gave no resistance. In truth, she was too weak to bother. It was just easier to allow him to do whatever he desired.

As he went to force her chin up Silf's legs suddenly buckled. She yelped nearly collapsing to her knees. Magnius quickly caught and helped her to the seat nearby. Lightheadedness washing over her in a wave of heat and cold.

"I'm sorry master!" She exclaimed trying to push back to her feet battling against her body's need for rest, but he stopped her and they locked eyes. He wore an expression of deep concern and worry.

"No, sit down. That's an order." He hated giving an order of obedience but feared she might hurt herself if he didn't. "If you weren't feeling strong enough to stand you should have said something." He scolded.

"In truth master, I haven't felt strong in a very long time." She admitted, allowing herself to willingly submit to his orber. She'd try to disobey him later. When she felt physically capable.

"It's actually why I dropped the towel earlier. I lost my grip. I didn't mean to expose myself like that." She explained. Her voice slowed with exhaustion.

Magnius chuckled lightly. "Well that explains that I suppose." He chuckled. "I thought you were trying to tell me something with that little stunt.

"No sir. It was an accident, I swear." Silf tried relaxing into the seat watching as he now progressed from her head to her shoulders, and soon he was moving even lower.

"No, I believe you." He replied. "Would it be alright if I inspected your chest, I want to check your rib cage but you can keep the dress over you."

She nodded but opted to let the dress fall away so she could rest her arms in her lap. She hardly had the strength left to even gently set them down. Instead allowing them to slump into place. "I trust you master but keeping my arms up is getting too hard."

He nodded "Just relax for now then." He remarked pulling the dress back up onto her lap to cover her crotch. Silf didn't seem to care either way as she closed her eyes for a moment.

After a deep breath to calm his own nerves he began by gently pressing his thumbs between each rib feeling out from her sternum. He did what he could to avoid directly touching her breasts.

He could feel a few points he suspected had been fractures or breaks that had healed out of place. Those he knew could be mended by a Flesh stitcher. "I'm going to move to your hips now."

No response. Just steady breathing as her head slouched back against the high frame of the chair. He wondered if she'd fallen asleep. He wouldn't have been surprised if she had.

As he repeated the process against her pelvis feeling at each joint and along the length of the bone, she flinched hissing in pain. He gave her a moment to let the pain subside before continuing again. "Did that hurt before when you were standing?"

She nodded. "A little but not like that." She answered.

He kept probing the area until he was sure he'd found the exact spot. "We'll keep an eye on that. For now, you're restricted from walking until I know for sure it's not fractured."

Silf nodded, still reeling from the sudden jolt of pain that had just run havoc across her body. "Do I need to~" She looked to her crouch unsure of what to do about herself?

"No, You're fine. I'm not touching that part of you." He quickly interrupted but curiosity was getting the better of him now. "Does it bother you~" He paused to find the right words. "Being transexual I mean?"

He was unsure what he should or even could ask. Was he overstepping his role to even ask? He put those questions aside. In all honesty, it was better to ask now and avoid any complications later.

He could look into medical treatments if she desired it. Knowing how she felt about it meant offering the right sort of help later and avoiding damaging her sense of self-worth any further. IF she even wanted any.

Silf shook her head. "No, not really master." Her voice was calmer than he'd expected. "My deformity has never been too much of an issue. It's been a sort of blessing at times." She opened her eyes again to watch him.
